Lent is a time of purification and purgation. Like all of our Lenten balms we looked to the desert for inspiration, but this year we wanted something more. So we started with Desert Sage and added grapefruit, bergamot, and lilly. Lilies are a classic symbol of purity in the Church and they are an amazing reminder of the purifying nature of the season of Lent.
